The Countrymen Country & Western Band
Started in 1969 The Countrymen consist of two brothers, Jaime and Gary Trial, and father and son, Al and Fred Michalczak. Al, Jaime and Gary have been together since the summer of 1971, when Al joined the band, with Fred joining in 1986.
The longevity of the band reflects the day to day lives of its members, as Jaime has been with Sears for over 38 years, Gary has helped operate his family's pawn shop for over 37 years, and Al , retired from the San Antonio Fire Department after 35 years. Even Fred has had the same job, music, all of his adult life.
Today, the Countrymen can be found playing in and around the San Antonio area.
