Tom called the meeting to order at 7.00 PM.

The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.

Malcolm gave a verbal and  written report. The report  was approved.

Discussion on the clubs finances were discussed. It was agreed that we would not increase dues this year, despite the rise in postal costs.  It was suggested that more email notification and use of our web site should cut down on our mailing costs.  However, it was still recommended that, before a concert, a reminder post card would be sent.

The board expressed its approval of Malcolm’s aggressive approach to advertising.  There was a proposal to look into a company called.

Motorblade Postering Service--a company that distributes flyers in high  traffic areas.  Dave offered to find out more about this service.

Tom reported that he and the board met with Marge from Cap City.  She is happy to have us continue for another year under the same arrangement.  She also said she would see that the wait staff is more attentive.
